The Pro Kabaddi League (PKL) 2024 witnessed two captivating games on Monday, November 11, that kept the audience on the edge of their seats. The night kicked off with a match between Gujarat Giants and Patna Pirates, which was followed by U Mumba going up against Haryana Steelers.

The Pirates dominated in a 27-40 victory in the opening encounter. Their commanding performance was led by Ayan, who delivered an all-round show, notching up eight raid points and two tackle points to secure his team’s win. The Giants struggled to match the Pirates’ intensity.

In the second game, the Haryana Steelers clinched a high-scoring win against U Mumba, 39-48, in what was a closer game than the score suggests. U Mumba held the upper hand for much of the match but couldn’t maintain their momentum, allowing the Steelers to make a dramatic comeback.

Haryana’s Mohammadreza Shadloui Chiyaneh, the showstopper of the night, secured his first High 5 of the season with six tackle points and added four raid points to his tally. Teammates Vishal Tate and Shivam Patare also shone, each earning Super 10s, which were crucial to Haryana’s victory. Ajit Chouhan was the standout for U Mumba, putting up a valiant fight with a total of 18 points but ultimately couldn’t lead his team to victory.

Here’s a look at the updated leaderboard for the top raiders and defenders in PKL 2024 following the MUM vs HAR clash.
