The race to Pro Kabaddi League 2024 playoffs officially began on December 9 with a double-header in Pune. Home team Puneri Paltan locked horns with season eight champions Dabang Delhi KC, while Vijay Malik's Telugu Titans took on table-toppers Haryana Steelers.

The battle between Titans and Steelers was a lopsided one, where the Steelers avenged their previous loss against the Titans and emerged victorious by 46-25. After that, Dabang Delhi KC inched a step closer to the playoffs by defeating Puneri Paltan 30-26.

Most Raid Points in Pro Kabaddi 2024

Telugu Titans all-rounder Vijay Malik has moved up from fifth to fourth position on the raiders' leaderboard. He scored five points against the Haryana Steelers, taking his total to 143 raid points from 18 matches. Ajit Ramesh Chouhan also has 143 raid points, and he holds the fourth spot jointly with Vijay now.

Meanwhile, Haryana Steelers raider Vinay has jumped to the sixth position courtesy of his seven points against the Titans. Vinay's total stands at 128 raid points from 18 games.

Most Tackle Points in Pro Kabaddi 2024

Haryana Steelers all-rounder Mohammadreza Shadloui has climbed from second to first position on the defenders' leaderboard. Shadloui scored three tackle points against the Telugu Titans, taking his tally to 60 tackle points.

Nitin Rawal has dropped to the second position, but he is only one tackle point behind Shadloui. Elsewhere, Shadloui's teammate Rahul Sethpal moved up to the fourth position. Rahul's four tackle points against the Titans boosted his total to 53 tackle points this season, the same as UP Yoddhas captain Sumit Sangwan. Rahul and Sumit jointly hold the fourth position.
