Brij Stars will enter the Uttar Pradesh Kabaddi League (UPKL) 2024 under the leadership of Shivam Chaudhary. The tournament is set to take place from July 11 to 25 at Noida Indoor Stadium, Uttar Pradesh. Veteran Indian Kabaddi star Rahul Chaudhari is the brand ambassador of the UPKL.
The Brij Stars will represent the city of Mathura, with the local people often called 'Brijwasi.'
The team's vice-captain, Robin Chaudhary, represented Telugu Titans in Pro Kabaddi League (PKL) 10 and garnered 55 raid points in 18 games. Meanwhile, another key player, Vikrant Chaudhary, also has experience of playing for the Titans.

Talented raider Navneet Sehrawat has been a part of PKL teams like U Mumba and Jaipur Pink Panthers. He has garnered a total of 36 points.
The team consists of two raiders, both named Vishal Choudhary. They have been impressive in the Yuva Kabaddi Series (YKS). One of them amassed more than 400 raid points in 59 games while the other shone bright with 172 raid points in 22 games.
On the defense front, Harsh Dhaka secured 13 tackle points in four games of YKS last year, while Lucky Kumar gained 14 tackle points. Ankit Yadav impressed in the YKS 2022, where he secured 37 tackle and 13 raid points in 19 appearances.
Brij Stars will begin their tournament with a clash against Awadh Ramdoots on Thursday at 8 PM IST.
The squad is set to play the other seven sides in a double round-robin format, followed by the top four teams in the standings reaching the semi-finals. It will be interesting to see if the Shivam Chaudhary-led side can have a winning start in the tournament.
