Current Bengal Warriorz captain and star Iranian defender Fazel Atrachali is arguably the best defender in the history of the Pro Kabaddi League. The left-corner defender has bagged more tackle points than any other player in the league's history.

In 171 Pro Kabaddi League games, Fazel Atrachali has bagged 494 points, 84 more than second-placed PO Surjeet Singh. Fazel began his journey in the Pro Kabaddi League in Season 2 with U Mumba, where he scored 11 tackle points in five games.

However, he showed his worth in Season 3, where he scored 32 tackle points and followed it up with 52 tackle points in Season 4, playing for the Patna Pirates.

Fazel moved to the Gujarat Giants in Season 5 and put up another solid performance, scoring 57 tackle points. He had an amazing outing in the following season, where he amassed 83 tackle points. The Iranian defender repeated his heroics in Season 7, scoring 82 tackle points.

Compared to his own standards, he slightly underperformed in Season 8, but was still impressive as he picked up 51 tackle points. In the ninth season, Fazel managed 56 tackle points.

Captaining the Gujarat Giants, Fazel Atrachali led from the front and picked up 62 tackle points in Season 10. He was surprisingly released by the franchise ahead of the Season 11 auction and Bengal Warriorz acquired his services for the ongoing season.

Fazel has been a consistent performer in the league for a long time and has always delivered crucial performances on the mat. He needs just six more points to become the first player in the history of the league to reach 500 tackle points.

Fazel Atrachali's performances in PKL Season 11 so far

In PKL Season 11, Fazel Atrachali is leading the Bengal Warriorz. In three matches so far this season, the Iranian defender has scored 11 tackle points. He has also picked up 2 Super Tackles and one High 5 at an average of three successful tackles per game and a tackle success rate of 53%.
