#2 Joginder Narwal
Dabang Delhi's decision to retain 37-year-old Joginder Narwal ahead of the Season 7 auctions highlighted the veteran's value to the squad with his experience and leadership skills. Narwal made no dent to his reputation as he led the team to their first-ever PKL final in an emphatic fashion. Not to forget, he was also brilliant on the mat with 49 tackle points in the competition.
However, having identified a few young talented players in their existing squad, it needs to be seen if Delhi would revitalize Narwal's PKL career by retaining him for Season 8. Although he had a good outing in the recently-concluded season, his performances on certain occasions were not up to the mark. He made a few amateur errors at times and had his team on the backseat.
The kind of character that he is, Narwal would want to provide ample opportunities to the youngsters in the squad to prove their skills. Hence, there is a possibility that he could make way for them by hanging up his boots ahead of the upcoming season.

#1 Dharmaraj Cheralathan
One of the best corner defenders that India has ever produced, Dharmaraj Cheralathan could retire from the game before the start of next season. As a 44-year-old, the Tamil Nadu player led his team well and contributed 46 points from 19 games to the Haryana Steelers in the recently-concluded campaign.
However, with his performances dipping, it might be the right time for him to bring down the curtains on his PKL career. Based on his experience, Cheralathan has a good future as a coach who can guide the next set of kabaddi players in the country.
That said, the fans of the game will surely miss him in the upcoming seasons for the enthusiasm and intelligent defending that was always on display every time Cheralathan was on the mat.
