The second day of the Delhi leg in Pro Kabaddi season 4 will see, the home team Dabang Delhi go head to head against the table toppers Patna Pirates at the Thyagaraj Sports Complex. The Dabangs from Delhi registered an emphatic victory over the Bengal Warriors, on Sunday and kept their playoff hopes alive. The defending Champions Patna Pirates, already qualified for the semi-finals, however, they look to spoil Delhi’s hopes of reaching the Knockouts for the first time in Pro Kabaddi
The live streaming for the Pro Kabaddi League season 4 game between the Dabang Delhi vs Patna Pirates will be available on starsports.com from 20:00 IST. The match will be telecasted live from DOME@NSCI SVP Stadium, Mumbai and will be aired on Star Sports 2 (HD) in English and Star Sports 3 (HD) in Hindi.
The Dabangs ace-raider, Kashiling Adake’s destructive raids with 13 points against Bengal Warriors, ensured the team’s biggest win in Pro Kabaddi history. The star raider with his impressive performance , not only completed his 350 raid points in Pro Kabaddi but also kept Delhi in the Playoff hunt. Kashik will face a stiff battle in today’s match against one of the best defensive units in season 4.
The Iranian Meraj Sheykh was rock solid against Patna Pirates in the previous clash. The skipper along with the do-or-die specialist Selvamani have to complement Kashiling Adake in today’s match.
Delhi’s defensive beast Sachin Shingade is just five points away from overtaking the league’s best defender Amit Hooda. With 36 tackle points to his name, Sachin looks set to halt Patna’s spearhead Pardeep Narwal, once again, after winning many duels against the 19-year-old raider, in the previous clash at the Patiliputra Sports Complex earlier.
The cornerstones of Delhi defence Prashant Chavan and Anil Kumar should ably support Sachin Shingade in today’s do-or-die match.
Patna’s defensive duo of Fazel Atrachali and Dharmaraj Cheralathan have scored a combined 60 tackle points, so far in season 4. Both these corner defenders face a stern test against Delhi’s attacking trio of Kashiling Adake, Meraj Sheykh and Selvamani. The former Bengal defender Bajirao Hodage should continue his good run of form.
Patna’s raid force, Pardeep Narwal dispatched the Puneri Paltan defence with 13 raid points, on Saturday. Pardeep is just three points short of becoming the second raider after Kashiling Adake to score more than 100 raids in consecutive seasons of Pro Kabaddi.
The Pirates attack was completely taken over by the Delhi defence lead by Sachin Shingade in the previous match. The duo of Pardeep Narwal and Rajesh Mondal will look to break the Delhi defence, this time, after failing to do so on their home ground.
The head to head strongly favours Patna with 4-2 but Delhi ended Patna’s unbeaten run in season 4 by handing them the most embarrassing defeat in Pro Kabaddi.
Let’s see whether Delhi can overpower Patna for the second time in the season.
