With the bandwagon shifting from Jaipur to Hyderabad, U-Mumba will look to continue their winning touch when they take on a rigid Bengal Warriors outfit at the Gachibowli Indoor Stadium in Hyderabad. There will definitely be some added pressure towards Bengal to deliver, as they have never managed to overcome any of the U-Mumba challenges across the three seasons.
The Live Streaming for the Pro Kabaddi season 4 league game between the U-Mumba and Bengal Warriors will be available on starsports.com from 20:00 IST. The match will be telecasted live from Sawai Mansingh Stadium, Jaipur, and will be aired on Star Sports 2 / Star Sports 2(HD) in English and Star Sports 3/ Star Sports 3(HD) in Hindi.
Although U-Mumba has pulled off two wins from their four games, the squad does not present the amount of vigour and pace that it consisted of from the earlier three seasons.Although Anup Kumar has shepherded the squad well, this season’s U-Mumba has presented a pale shadow of itself, with the men unable to use the opportunities presented to them to the entire capacity.
Rishank Devadiga has been in spectacular form against all the team so far and has amassed 26 raid points to his name from the 3 matches so far. He complemented Rakesh Kumar well against Jaipur, while he was the main raider and scored points with a free will against a Pune line-up who were not giving away points easily.
Easily U-Mumba’s best raider so far, he will be the cynosure of all eyes when U-Mumba take on Bengal Warriors. Rakesh Kumar has played the perfect all-rounder’s role and will be looked upon to deliver during crunch situations. With the defence emerging as the culprit in the previous matches, Sunil Kumar and Jeeva Kumar will have to raise their game to a whole new level.
Nilesh Shinde and Girish Maruti Ernak, both who were retained ahead of the season have been in some roaring form, taking down raiders who have come in their path with ease. Guarding both corners at times, the chemistry between these two men has benefitted Bengal to a large effect, although the points table does not speak volumes on this fact, with Bengal having lost two of their three ties. Jang-Kun Lee remains doubtful to start and his absence could deal a major blow to the Warriors as he has often saved them from the blushes.
This match will feature a battle between U-Mumba’s raiders and Bengal Warriors strong defence. Rishank Devadiga and Anup Kumar have been in the form which could easily breach any defence, but the Warriors defence poses a totally different picture. Going through them could be a tough task and the match promises to go down to the wire.
