U Mumba have looked positive lately as they have already booked themselves a spot in the playoffs. Abhishek Singh has been scoring points consistently while Athul MS and Rohit Baliyan have played supportive roles. Fazel Atrachali has put his poor run behind and has picked up some vital tackle points.

U Mumba faced Tamil Thalaivas on the third day of Panchkula leg. Abhishek Singh scored a brilliant Super 10 in that game, apart from Athul MS' six raid points. Fazel Atrachali was the star defender with three tackle points to his name. They managed to beat the Tamil Thalaivas by a 36-32 margin on the back of an all-round show.

They faced Patna Pirates in the next encounter as the offence displayed a top show with Abhishek Singh's seven and Athul MS' six raid points. Skipper Fazel Atrachali was a top performer yet again as he picked up four tackle points in his side's 30-26 win.

Considering how U Mumba have been picking up wins on the back of fine shows from both department, they could be expected to clinch the title, having last won the trophy only in the second season of the competition.
