The Pro Kabaddi League (PKL) 2024 rolls on with its 30th match, pitting Bengaluru Bulls (BLR) against Telugu Titans (TEL) on November 2 at the Gachibowli Indoor Stadium in Hyderabad.
Bengaluru Bulls have had a dismal season so far, currently sitting at the bottom of the points table with only one win from five games. They started with four consecutive losses, a streak that was finally broken in their last match with a narrow 34-33 win over Dabang Delhi KC.
Despite the victory, the Bulls’ performance has been nothing short of concerning. They trailed by eight points at halftime in that game, only to stage a late comeback. While the win will certainly boost their morale, a one-point margin against a mid-tier team hardly speaks of their potential.
Captain Pardeep Narwal, despite his status as the “Record Breaker,” has underwhelmed so far. With just seven raid points in the previous match, he needs to step up significantly if the Bulls are to turn their season around. The team's resurgence in the second half was driven largely by Nitin Rawal, who earned a High 5, and Jai Bhagwan, who scored a Super 10 as a substitute.
However, relying on second-half miracles and individual heroics is unsustainable. Bengaluru must address their lackluster starts and tighten up both their raiding and defense if they want to climb the standings.
The Telugu Titans, though slightly better off than the Bulls, have also had an inconsistent season. They’re currently positioned 10th, with two wins and three losses, and have struggled to find a reliable rhythm. They won their season opener against the Bulls with a decisive 37-29 scoreline but quickly slumped, losing three consecutive games before a narrow 28-26 win over Patna Pirates.
In their last match, Titans’ captain Pawan Sehrawat had an off day, but Ashish Narwal took charge with eight raid points and a tackle, showing that the team has other capable players who can step up when needed. Ankit emerged as the standout defender with four tackle points, which proved pivotal in their narrow win.
The Titans have shown flashes of promise, especially in the second half, but they too are prone to lapses in both attack and defense. They’ll need to find consistency if they want to defeat Bengaluru again and secure some stability.

Bengaluru Bulls vs Telugu Titans Match Prediction
This match presents an opportunity for both teams to re-establish themselves. While the Bengaluru Bulls have the star power, they haven’t delivered results to match. Pardeep Narwal’s inconsistency has been a liability, and his leadership is under scrutiny as the team struggles to keep up with even mid-table teams.
Unless Pardeep steps up significantly, the Bulls may find themselves chasing points once again. The Titans’ defense, led by Ankit and Krishan Dhull, could prove challenging for an out-of-form Bengaluru side.
The Telugu Titans, meanwhile, have the psychological edge, having already beaten the Bulls this season. Although they’ve had their own challenges, their recent win against Patna Pirates showed they can grind out close games. If Ashish Narwal and Ankit can maintain their form, the Titans are likely to dominate a vulnerable Bengaluru defense.
Prediction: Telugu Titans to win by 4-5 points.
