#4 Deepak Niwas Hooda - 710 raid points from 103 matches
The costliest player of the first season of Pro Kabaddi League, Deepak Niwas Hooda has proved why he is rated so highly on the Kabaddi court. The all-round maestro has 785 points to his name of which 710 have come through his raids. Hooda's PKL career kickstarted with the Telugu Titans, where he spent two seasons.
Across two seasons, Hooda scored a total of 189 points from 29 matches until he was snapped up by the Puneri Paltan for the third season of the PKL. He played three seasons for the Paltans, with his second outing in the orange jersey being the best of the three.
The running hand-touch specialist scored 7.87 raid points on an average in the season with a total of 126 raid points from 16 matches. Though Pune could not qualify for the next stage, Deepak Hooda was the lone bright spark in their campaign.
It is surprising that in spite of being so talented, Hooda is yet to lay his hands on the coveted PKL trophy. This season, Hooda will be the lead raider for the Jaipur Pink Panthers and a lot is expected of the talented all-rounder.
Overall, Hooda has 710 raid points from 103 matches, including 24 Super-10s to his credit.
