Whoever bought a ticket for Dabang Delhi’s match against Patna Pirates on Feb 25th, 2016, got more than their money’s worth. A 101-point game in a 40-minute match? It seemed far-fetched but that’s exactly what transpired.
On an average, more than two points were scored every 60 seconds, another record that’s unparalleled. Four players managed to score a Super 10 that night – Kashiling Adake, Surjeet Singh, Rohit Kumar and Sandeep Narwal. One could only empathise with Delhi’s defenders that evening, who were shattered in every sense of the word. The Pirates ultimately won that match 67-34.
