Hadi will turn up for U Mumba this time around

Hadi may not have had an outing to boast about from the World Cup held last year, but the Iranian was a tackling machine in the latter stages of Pro Kabaddi’s fourth edition when he played for the Patna Pirates, the team that went on to win the title.

An out-and-out defender, Hadi has also been closely watched by U Mumba’s coach ahead of the fifth season who has acknowledged the Iranian’s potential as a ‘strong corner defender.’

As far as the stats are concerned, Hadi has accumulated 37 tackle points from his 21 outings and will look to play an integral role in the Mumbai defence under the aegis of Anup Kumar.
