#4 Hara Kiri at half-time

There was a lot of sanity in the proceedings between Bengal and UP till the 17th minute of the match between Bengal and UP and the one writing the script from above wasn’t possibly enjoying it. At least that’s what it seemed from what panned out in the next three minutes as a whopping 12 points were scored by both the teams in that passage of the game. The score was 13-8 and the Warriors had taken a vice like grip on the proceedings when Rajesh Narwal came to raid.
He first took out a defender with a hand touch before overcoming a pouncing defender and then got lucky when Ran Singh couldn’t control himself trying a tackle and ended up touching a retreating Narwal to gift him three points. With just two UP Yoddha players left on the mat, Warriors must have fancied their chances of inflicting an All Out but they could only helplessly see Jang Kun Lee getting a Super Tackle from Santhosh. And, in absolutely no time, the game had come to level pegging.
The drama was still not over, though, as, when it seemed both the teams will go tied into the half time, Deepak Narwal enjoyed a stroke of luck. One of the two Yoddha on the mat, Nitin Tomar, tripped on his shoelaces while making an unsuccessful tackle attempt and Narwal took advantage of it to send both the UP men on the mat to go into the half time with a 5 point lead again.
