The local Maharashtra man came into his very own in the home leg for U Mumba with quite a few stellar displays on the mat, particularly in the last match against the Jaipur Pink Panthers when he powered the team across the finish line with his key two-point raid in the dying minutes of that encounter.
He finished with a Super-10 in that match and prior to that had already picked up 23 points from four matches. Kashi was particularly more vital to the team's success in the last couple of matches, for he ensured that if he did not manage to pick up a touch point on the raid, he at least sneaked in a bonus.
