One of the league's most aggressive defenders, Rohit Rana's inaugural season with the Panthers was extremely successful as he finished with 38 points from 15 matches and with that also won the title.

However, since then, the 30-year old defender faded away with each passing season. In season 2, he could only muster up 17 points from 10 matches while in the third season, 18 points from 12 matches.
In the last season, Rana's woeful form saw him lose out on a constant place in the starting seven as he came on as a substitute more often, only to finish with 3 points from 5 matches.
