The Bulls took on the Steelers in a Pro Kabaddi League clash with the defending champions having the opportunity to seal a playoffs berth with a win. They were missing the services of their skipper Rohit Kumar and Pawan stepped up to take the charge for his side on the mat.

Pawan was a persistent thorn for the Steelers' defence as he kept picking up points consistently to overcome the momentum of their opponents' raiders Prashanth Kumar Rai and Vikash Kandola. He broke the record for most points by a raider in first half of a Pro Kabaddi match.

Despite their raiding unit doing well, the Steelers were unable to contain Pawan's high-flying exploits and succumbed to four All-outs in the match.
