Bidding for this young man started at Rs. 50 lakh despite his base price of Rs. 20 lakh and sooner enough, Jaipur Pink Panthers picked him up for Rs. 73 lakh.
Was it required? Especially for a team that had splurged a fair amount of money on procuring the likes of Manjeet Chhillar and Jasvir Singh. What difference Selvamani can bring to the table, only time will tell.
