The Senior National Kabaddi Championships 2017 are currently underway in Hyderabad at the Gachibowli Stadium in Hyderabad, with the group stages culminating on Tuesday. A total of 30 teams in the men's section and 28 teams in the women's section took part over the last three days, with 16 from each section now playing in the pre-quarterfinals on Wednesday.
The draw was confirmed earlier in the day for the Round of 16 by the Amateur Kabaddi Federation of India officials, which offers a number of exciting matches. Here it is:

M1 - Karnataka vs Tamil Nadu
M2 - Andhra Pradesh vs Uttarakhand
M3 - Uttar Pradesh vs Kerala
M4 - Delhi vs Maharashtra
M5 - Haryana vs Himachal Pradesh
M6 - Gujarat vs Rajasthan
M7 - Bihar vs Services
M8 - Madhya Pradesh vs Railways
Women's
M1 - Railways vs Delhi
M2 - Odisha vs Uttar Pradesh
M3 - Karnataka vs Chhattisgarh
M4 - Punjab vs Bihar
M5 - Haryana vs Chandigarh
M6 - Andhra Pradesh vs Kerala
M7 - Himachal Pradesh vs Tamil Nadu
M8 - West Bengal vs Maharashtra
In both categories, the winners of M1 will meet the winners of M2 in the quarterfinals, M3 will play M4, and so on and so forth. The fixture to watch out for in the men's section is certainly the match up between Haryana and Himachal Pradesh, which will see the likes of Anup Kumar, Manjeet Chhillar and Sandeep Narwal take on Ajay Thakur and his men.
The Karnataka and Tamil Nadu promises to be another classic encounter, with a number of Pro Kabaddi stars such as Sukesh Hegde, Shabeer Bapu, Dharmaraj Cheralathan and C Arun on either side. The first set of matches is expected to start at 5 pm, as per the AKFI officials at the venue.
Also, as confirmed by Sportskeeda earlier, the men's quarterfinals will be telecast on TV on Star Sports First from Thursday onwards.
