The Tamil Thalaivas (TAM) and Dabang Delhi KC (DEL) go up against each other in the 88th match of PKL 11 on Sunday, December 1, at the Noida Indoor Stadium.
The Thalaivas lost heavily to the Haryana Steelers in their last outing, and a High 5 from Nitesh Kumar and a Super 10 from Moein Shafaghi weren't enough to salvage even a point for them. With only five wins in 14 matches, they need a miraculous run of games for them to make the playoffs.
Their opponents Dabang Delhi KC did well in the final stretch of their previous outing against the Patna Pirates to secure a tie, and are currently placed 8th on the points table, with a win taking them up to 2nd.

The Tamil Thalaivas' captain at the start of the season, Sahil Gulia's PKL 11 campaign is an interesting one. That's what makes him a high-risk Dream11 option.
However, he is the starting left corner for the Thalaivas as of now, and there is a huge upside to selecting him. He has been a consistent performer for the Thalaivas since Season 8, and even in PKL 11, his 26 tackle points in 11 appearances are great numbers for a player supposedly out of form.
While a high-risk option, Sahil's high points ceiling makes him a worthwhile Dream11 surprise punt.
#2 Ashish (DEF) (DEL)
Dabang Delhi's utility raiding all-rounder has somewhat been misclassified as a defender on Dream11, but he could be a useful budget pick on your teams either way. An experienced player who has had excellent campaigns for the Haryana Steelers, U Mumba, and now, Dabang Delhi KC, Ashish has shown tidbits of what he can do this season, chipping in with handy raid points and frequent tackle points.
He has often surprised raiders with his well-timed diving ankle holds from the in positions, and is also capable of deputizing in the cover or corner positions. Playing for the better team on paper, Ashish could be a handy Dream11 surprise option for this match.
#1 Sandeep Deswal (DEF) (DEL)
Dabang Delhi KC left cover defender Sandeep could be a powerful Dream11 pick against an increasingly left-raiding Tamil Thalaivas raiding unit. Sandeep has been solid throughout this season for Delhi, scoring 18 tackle points in 11 matches for his side, with those numbers really good for a left cover.
The Tamil Thalaivas operated with Moein Shafaghi as their lead raider in their last outing, with another left raider Chandran Ranjit supporting him. If Narender makes a surprise return to the side if he's fit, that'll add another left raider to their raiding unit, increasing the chances of right corners and left covers to initiate tackles and score tackle points.
Sandeep could really haul big in this fixture and is one to consider for your Dream11 teams.
