The Telugu Titans and the Haryana Steelers will square off in the 61st match of Pro Kabaddi 2024 on Monday, November 18, at the Noida Indoor Stadium.
The Titans suffered their first defeat in five matches at the hands of the UP Yoddhas last time out. But more than the loss, it's the injury sustained by captain Pawan Sehrawat during the match that will worry them. It'll be interesting to see how the team manages without him and how quickly he can recover from the injury.
Meanwhile, the Haryana Steelers are going from strength to strength and enter this match on the back of their fifth consecutive win this season and their eighth overall. They beat the Tamil Thalaivas in a tightly contested match.
Let's now look at the top three Dream11 surprise picks from this match.
#3 Vishal Tate (RAI) (HAR)
Haryana Steelers' third raider Vishal Tate could score plenty of points in the raiding department against an underconfident Titans' defensive unit. While he has played third fiddle to Vinay and Shivam Patare so far, Vishal has made quite a few impactful contributions, including a crucial Super 10 against U Mumba.
With 20 raid points in four appearances so far, Vishal has done a decent job whenever he has received an opportunity. With Haryana players having high ownership among most Dream11 managers, including Vishal in your team provides a differential route to points.
#2 Ashish Narwal (RAI) (TEL)
Right raider and raiding all-rounder Ashish Narwal will have to step up and deliver in the raiding department for the Telugu Titans after Pawan Sehrawat's injury. He has easily been the find of the season for the Titans, scoring 46 points in nine matches. His performances were instrumental in their four-match winning run that culminated in a stunning win over the Puneri Paltan.
He's likely to shoulder the lead-raiding responsibilities for the team along with Vijay Malik in this fixture. Despite the Steelers being a tough opposition, he's one of the few viable Dream11 options from the Titans.
#1 Krishan Dhull (DEF) (TEL)
With Pawan Sehrawat likely to be sidelined for a while with an injury, the Titans will need new leaders to step up. One player who shoulders a lot of expectations now is Krishan Dhull. The right corner was the second-best PKL defender last season, and went to the Titans for a whopping ₹70 lakh at the auction.
While he started well, scoring a High 5 in the first match of the season, Krishan has had a middling season since, accumulating only 13 tackle points in nine appearances so far. If there ever is a time for him to return to form, this match against an in-form Haryana Steelers is the one.
Against left-raiders like Shivam Patare, he will need to be sharp in defense and with a very high points ceiling, he's a powerful Dream11 differential.
