The 2024 Pro Kabaddi League (PKL) season is well underway, and for Match No.9, fans will be treated to a clash between the Telugu Titans and the Jaipur Pink Panthers. The two teams will face off at the Gachibowli Stadium in Hyderabad on Tuesday night (October 22).
Both the Titans and the Panthers have already been in action in season 11, with the former experiencing mixed fortunes while Jaipur established a dominating start.
The Titans were part of Season 11’s debut match, taking on the Bengaluru Bulls. Led by Pawan Sehrawat, they clinched a 37-29 victory to get their campaign off to a winning start. However, they've already struggled with consistency, losing their second game to the Tamil Thalaivas 29-44 in a lackluster manner.

For the Titans, the team's captain has proven to be their strongest weapon. Sehrawat was on the mat for both of the team's matches, earning 23 points so far in the season. Meanwhile, despite an impressive offense, they have struggled with their defense and will need to rectify that as they go into their next match.
On the other hand, the Jaipur Pink Panthers couldn't have asked for a better start for the season. They opened against the Bengal Warriorz, claiming a 39-34 victory. The two-time champions enter this PKL season hungering for a third title and look well-equipped to make it to the summit clash.
In their clash against the Warriorz, captain Arjun Deshwal was the team's star player, scoring 15 raid points in his time on the mat. Joining him on the list of impressive performers on the team's season debut were all-rounder Abhishek Malik as well as defenders Reza Mirbagheri and Ankush Rathee.
