#1 Kenneth Muguna
Gor Mahia skipper, Kenneth Muguna, has been leading by example with his accomplished performances in the middle of the park for the 18-time champions. He has put the ill-fated stint at Albanian side FK Tirana in his rearview to be a leader for a young Gor Mahia side.
During a period that Gor Mahia lost many of their star players due to financial constraints after the withdrawal of their sponsors, Muguna has stepped up to be the star man for the team.
His influence in the team has been growing game by game as he has scored eight goals so far this season. Muguna is Gor Mahia's top scorer this season, four goals ahead of Nicholas Kipkirui. His performances this season has been a reminder of his outings in 2017 at Western Stima where he earned the most valuable player award when he was 20 years-old in his first campaign in the Kenyan Premier League.
Muguna has scored crucial goals for K'Ogalo including a sumptuous header that earned them a vital victory against Sofapaka. He followed that with the third goal against Nzoia Sugar extending Gor Mahia's lead on top of the table to four points.
