All about the As Seen By exhibition by Rimowa in Seoul

Rimowa's As Seen By exhibition has been touring the world after visiting Hong Kong, Miami, and Paris. It is the third edition of the brand's global project in Seoul. The event represented the unique visual expressions of 10 global artists. As stated by the brand, As Seen By is a traveling exhibition of art by local artists from all over the world.

"The exhibition gives an elevated perspective to RIMOWA’s most iconic materials. A diverse collection of artists – from contemporary artists and creative studios, to industrial designers – were given materials that included grooved aluminum sheets and spare parts."

The main attraction of the event was the reinvented iconic aluminum suitcases with various designs. The brand also stated that they have collaborated with new 6 Korean artists for this exhibition. Every piece represented in the exhibition was crafted with exceptional visual expression and skills for the craftsmanship of the artists.

Although they exhibited distinct artistic approaches, these artworks were cohesive due to the utilization of identical materials, thereby establishing an exhibition-spanning visual language.
