Euphoria for Koln CC! They were nowhere at the start of the game, they kept fighting back, first with the bat, and then they absolutely dug into the Aachen Rising Stars with the ball! It was all about Akshay Dhani at the start, the medium pacer proceeded to take 4 wickets having not conceded a single run until the final ball of his spell! Much like their opponents from earlier in the game, the Rising Starts were in utter disarray, but Akhil Sugathan led the charge for a fightback on their behalf.

Sugathan's fightback didn't last for too long; having struck a couple of clean sixes he managed to find the palms of Kapoor at point. The chase revolved around Faheem Jan after that, who shortened the equation bit by bit with the help of the lower-order. Zainul Hassan struck a couple of meaty blows before holing out as well, Usama Ali provided some support to Jan until the latter departed with 10 to get off the final over! The pressure was way too intense for the Rising Stars' lower order, and they ended up being bowled out with 8 runs and 3 balls remaining in the game!
