And that is that from us in terms of coverage of the International League T20 today. We will be back with heaps of white-ball cricket tomorrow, so do keep an eye on our tabs! This is Rajarshi, signing off on behalf of myself and Pradeep. Good night!
Alex Hales, Player of The Match: Incredibly special feeling (to get the hundred). We've played some great cricket so far in this tournament, to get the milestone, the first hundred in a new tournament, it's a special feeling. It's been a few enjoyable few years on the cricket field, I just feel that I'm a lot more experienced now, I understand my game, I've tightened up a few weaknesses I had a few years ago, focusing solely on one format has helped me a lot. I think in my early 20s, I was guilty of hanging back on the back foot, looking to pull and cut everything, I've had to strengthen up and tighten up other areas of the game, I think that's the way T20 is now, so many analysts and stuff, everyone knows your strengths and weaknesses, you have to keep working and evolving.
Alex Hales is the Player of The Match
Colin Munro (Desert Vipers Captain): Alex Hales took the game up beautifully for us, Cottrell is one of the best swing bowlers in the world and four overs straight up, bowled beautifully, I asked for the boys to keep up, it's easy with 220 but have to bowl well. Kumara bowled well upfront, we had to get through and nice to get a decent start, happy to get some runs under my belt. Keep challenging the guys to get better, boys have been clinical from ball one and need to keep turning up with performances, all bases are covered, good people around.
Sunil Narine (Abu Dhabi Knight Riders Captain): When you lose it's tough, trying to get the right combination is tough, we haven't gotten that right, we haven't up to the challenge. If you win the combination is good, but we haven't been bowling well at the death and not starting well with the bat either. We have guys who back for the situation, hopefully we get the right combination and tick all the boxes.
Match summary: Abu Dhabi Knight Riders won the toss and opted to bowl
Abu Dhabi Knight Riders 108 all out (15.1 Overs) Andre Russell 57(29) | Sheldon Cottrell 3/14 (4)
Desert Vipers win by 111 runs
4 matches, 4 losses, a Net Run Rate of -3.51. That pretty much sums up the state of the Abu Dhabi Knight Riders thus far in this competition, and they played exactly as per their prowess so far in this tournament. The only high point they can derive from tonight is the return to form from Andre Russell - they might want to promote him up the order tomorrow against the MI Emirates. They might want their skipper to bat higher as well given the lack of firepower presented up top thus far.
Sheldon Cottrell and Gus Atkinson had the ball on a string early on. The Knight Riders openers, Brandon King and Kennar Lewis were already under the pump, walking out to chase 220, King swung and missed on 3 out of his first four, connecting with one fruitfully, before seeing his off-stump being pegged back by the left-armer. The rest of the Knight Riders top order were all at sea; there seemed to be a lack of intent and fight from them altogether, and soon after, they all fell like a pack of cards.
Andre Russell was the only one who put up a fight, having lost every single partner he could have relied upon, he decided to put up a show for a little while, picking the line and length from the bowlers to perfection. He came up trumps against Hasaranga's googlies, and he was dominating against the left-arm pace of Shiraz Ahmed before Shiraz had him caught at deep point with the wide yorker ploy. A few balls later, the formalities were done, and the Vipers completed a 111-run victory.
Matiullah Khan wanted to bother the TV umpire one last time tonight. A rather one-sided contest, slightly brightened by some fireworks from Russell, comes to an end. The Abu Dhabi Knight Riders are winless after 4 games.
15.1 Benny Howell to Matiullah Khan, OUT! APPEAL FOR LBW AND UP GOES THE FINGER! Khan reviews it more in desperation as that looks plumb. Back of a length, shapes sharply into Khan who gets behind to play and misses, pings him on the back pad and that's stone-dead. Nothing on the UltraEdge there. THREE REDS on ball tracker. Vipers finish the annihilation as they win the game by a mammoth 111 runs!
Matiullah Khan LBW b Benny Howell 1 (2b 0x4 0x6)
Shiraz Ahmed will go home a happy man! He was in the hot seat against the Russell rampage, but his wide-yorker ploy pays off perfectly, and he wins the contest against Dre Russ!

14.6 Shiraz Ahmed to Lahiru Kumara, back of a length in the channel, Kumara hangs back and defends it into the off-side.
Lahiru Kumara, LHB, comes to the crease
That's it! It was fun while it lasted, but the Dre-Russ show comes to an end for the night!
14.5 Shiraz Ahmed to Andre Russell, OUT! PICKS OUT DEEP COVERS AND GONE! Shiraz gets his man in the end, length delivery and well outside the off-stump, Russell sits down on one knee and slices it straight down the throat of Mustafa who takes a good catch.
Andre Russell c Rohan Mustafa b Shiraz Ahmed 57 (29b 5x4 5x6)
14.4 Shiraz Ahmed to Andre Russell, full toss, knee height and well outside the off-stump and Russell misses out as he swings across the line and mistimes it to mid-wicket.
14.3 Shiraz Ahmed to Andre Russell, goes for the wide yorker, Russell reaches for it and toe ends it to deep backward point, he declines the single.
14.2 Shiraz Ahmed to Andre Russell, SIX MORE! This one goes the distance too and Russell is teeing off big time here, he's got nothing to lose though. Length delivery, right in the slot and Russell SMOKES it all the way over long-on fence for another huge maximum.
14.1 Shiraz Ahmed to Andre Russell, SIX! BAM! FIFTY FOR RUSSELL! Comes around the wicket, angled the low full toss into Russell who DISPATCHED it way over deep mid-wicket fence for a maximum.
Close shave for Matiullah Khan there, but Russell has the strike! He's nearing a half-century, and the Knight Riders must be biting their hands, ruing their decision not to send him higher up the order!
