That will bring the curtains on our live coverage of this ILT20 game between the MI Emirates and the Abu Dhabi Knight Riders. This is Soumarya Dutta, taking your leave on behalf of Mohul Bhowmick. See you soon!
Trent Boult, Player of the Match- " Danny Morrison has always got advise for me, so full credits to him (Laughs). I look to swing the ball and go at full tilt always. To get a team as star studded as them below 100 was a great effort. For me, it's about technique and timing. I look to take it nice and slow and get my run up right. We've got some very experienced players in the line up and we've got the likes of Pooran and Bravo in the leadership group. I've been very lucky and there isn't any substitute for hard work. Akeal is a tremendous bowler and it was great sharing the new ball with him. "
Nicholas Pooran, MI Emirates captain: We really wanted to win this game tonight. Our boys came up and accepted the challenge. I have not played Test cricket, but keeping to Boult is perhaps the closest I have got to it. He wanted to bowl all the four overs, and I was alright with giving it to him. I think he uses his experience when bowling. Things are falling into place but we have to keep our feet on the ground.
Sunil Narine, captain of Abu Dhabi Knight Riders: I think when you lose four wickets in the powerplay, you are already on the backfoot. So, the key was that we should have accumulated runs and not thrown our wickets away cheaply. I think we have to get it out of our system tonight and not carry it forward. We have a game in two days' time and come back fresh for it. We have a lot of senior players, and they know how to rectify their shotmaking.
The post match presentation is coming up!
MI Emirates 96/1 in 8.1 overs Nicholas Pooran 39*(16) | Matiullah Khan 1/17 Muhammad Waseem 26*(20)
8.1 overs! That's all it took the MI Emirates to chase down 95 and trounce the Abu Dhabi Knight Riders. This has been an absolutely emphatic win from them and it's the fastest win in terms of balls remaining in the history of the tournament.
It was never going to be a challenging target for the MI Emirates and they began in brisk fashion in the powerplay. Kusal Perera got things underway with a flurry of boundaries and he eased the pressure early on upon Waseem who played second fiddle. The former was dismissed as he looked to go over mid on and holed out at the edge of the circle. Nicholas Pooran came in at that stage and he made merry as the bowlers kept bowling in his arc. He went berserk against Russell, Narine and Imad Wasim as he pounded on a few crushing blows in the form of sixes.
There wasn't much to write home about for the Knight Riders bowling and they look some major beating tonight. UAE youngster Khan, got a consolation wicket as Perera had mistimed one, but none of the other bowlers even looked like picking up a wicket which explains why the Emirates side chased things down within 10 overs.
MI Emirates win by 9 wickets and 71 balls to spare.

Matiuallah Khan [1.0-0-16-1] comes back into the attack.
The scores are level now and the Emirates have made really light work of this target. Nicholas Pooran has been on fire and he has unleashed the T10 mode upon the bowlers. Wasim was at the receiving end of it in the last over as he conceded a couple of sixes.

Two in two for Pooran and he seems to be in a hurry! Imad Wasim is bowling it in his arc and he is smoking them with the turn. The MI side need just four runs from here on.

Nicholas Pooran has unleashed himself on the bowlers tonight and he hasn't spared anyone so far. This game seems to be on borrowed time now and the MI Emirates might well finish things off before 10 overs as had been predicted by the audience in our polls.
