Darcie Brown is the Player of the Match! Here's what she has to say: You have games where you get wickets, there'll be one's that you don't, lucky to have picked up a few. All the bowlers are putting in the efforts, building the pressure and happy to have picked up a few. I think we've always had that belief within us, as long as I've been part of this crew, it's really special to be part and we're just enjoying time in the middle. I just tried to land and not to get whacked it, that catch thank goodness it came back to me and it kept following him, I made sure I held on to it, but it was terrible to drop Soph, but very lucky. So important, the crew that came out today, helped us so much and they've been incredible, helped us get much energy from them. Hopefully these kids come out next week and heaps of people to celebrate what a great season this has been.

Adelaide Strikers Women confirm top spot and ensure that the final of this season will be held here, at the Adelaide Oval! But things did not get all that easy for them with the bat.

The Perth Scorchers Women were able to keep chipping away with wickets and there was just enough on offer for the bowlers both in the air and off the pitch.

But, the best thing about the batting effort was the press for runs all the time. The batters were out in the middle with only one thing in mind - go for the runs!

No matter what, it was about getting the job done as early as possible so as not to leave anything late. And of course, Madeline Penna's unbeaten 31 off 23 balls ensured that they got home without losing more than 5 wickets.

As for Sophie Devine's Scorchers Women, back-to-back losses at this stage of the tournament does not auger too well. They need to improve their batting leading into the finals.

14.5 Alana King to Madeline Penna, FOUR! GAME, SET AND MATCH! The defending champions have secured a home-final, what a commanding performance this from the hosts. Tossed up a length delivery on the stumps, Penna lunges and slams it straight down the ground and seals the game with a boundary.
