The Strikers get their first win of season, the 46 runs in the last 4 overs was decisive in the end.
They started off well in the powerplay with the ball, with Darcie taking 2 wickets in 2 balls. Then Gardner and Bates got a small partnership going before getting out on two consecutive deliveries again. After that it was Burns and Bolton who had a great partnership to rescue the Sixers after they were 4 down. Burns was going strong on one end, she was joined by Ecclestone in the end who scored 17 off 12 as they took the power surge really late with 42 required from 18 balls. They got 22 from the power surge as Burns was on strike with 20 required off the last over.

She got a double and then hit a six, she was then dropped on the third ball which went for another two runs.
