The game too close for AUM's comfort towards the end! At one stage, it seemed like Darshit Patankar won them the match with his early onslaught, but once he was dismissed, the complexion of the match suddenly started to change! Patankar was the only one who made any significant contribution to the run-chase, barring maybe Jitesh Patel's winning shot (which was a dropped catch). He was losing partners right from the start but never seemed to be deterred, kept playing those big shots and got his team near the target! Devendra Negi then came back with a hat-trick, eventually a four-for, and the nerves were starting to show. The match went into the last over, Jitesh lofted one in the air but Kalyan put the chance down, and the AUM cricket team finally breathed a sigh of relief!
