A sensational run-chase from Andhra Pradesh riding on the brilliance of Karan Shinde and Ricky Bhui. The start was far from ideal for Andhra as they kept losing wickets at regular intervals. Abhijeet Saket was the wrecker-in-chief for Bihar as he bagged three crucial wickets in the powerplay to put them in a commanding position. Ashwin Hebbar looked in sublime touch and struck some delightful shots during his breezy knock of 25 off just 12 deliveries. Saket took the dangerman and followed it up with the wicket of KS Bharat.

Hanuma Vihari started off with a couple of attacking shots but Anuj Raj sent him back to the pavilion with a delivery angling away from the right-hander. Shaik Rasheed also looked in good touch but a terrible mix-up had him run out at a crucial juncture of the match. From there on, it was Karan Shinde and Ricky Bhui who brought them back into the game with some sensible batting. Shinde started taking the attack to the spinners and kept the required rate in check.

Shinde looked in ominous touch as he used his feet to perfection and found the gaps on a consistent basis. He got able support from Ricky Bhui who batted within himself and shared a match-winning partnership with Shinde. Bhui was dismissed in the penultimate over but by then the target was well within touching distance for Andhra. Shinde threw it away after making 75 off 38 deliveries which made things interesting in the final over. Eventually, it was KV Sasikanth who smashed a flat six over long-on to take Andhra over the finishing line.

Earlier in the day, it was Bihar who won the toss and opted to bat. The opening duo of Bipin Saurabh and Babul Kumar started off brilliantly and made full use of the fielding restrictions. Babul was the attacker who played some exceptional shots to set up a launchpad for Bihar. He scored 72 off 50 deliveries while Saurabh scored 52 off 39 deliveries. Sakibul Gani provided the late-order impetus with a quickfire 33 off just 17 deliveries.
