WOW! WHAT A CRICKET MATCH- A CLIFFHANGER FOR SURE! GENT DEFEAT ANTWERP BY 5 WICKETS.

One can only feel sorry for Antwerp for what seemed like a match that they let slip through their hands- quite literally. They were on top throughout the game, but capitulated under pressure in the last over.

With fourteen runs required, Gent found an unlikely hero in allrounder Sear Malik Khel, who smashed a six and a four off the last couple of deliveries to take them home. The six could have been prevented as veteran Sherry Butt misjudged his jump and ended up spooning the ball to the boundary line instead of catching it comfortably reverse-cup style.

Majid Ali (43) of Gent and Burhan Niaz (42) of Antwerp starred with the bat in this match while Waleed Azhar (3/6) and Faisal Khaliq (3/12), both of Gent, were the top performers with the ball.
