Commentary

Ariana Cricket Club - 111/7 in 10 overs (Nusratullah Sultan 24 off 10 balls, Abhinav Kamma 2/25 in 2 overs) beat Hisingens - 55/6 in 10 overs (Nithin Ramakrishna 14 off 14 balls, Nusratullah Sultan 3/7 in 2 overs) by 56 runs.

This was a forgettable run chase from Hisingens, and not even Nithin Ramakrishna could get himself going. A heavy loss for Hisingens means that they need their regular captain Gokul Seenivasan back in the very next game.

The batting effort hardly got going, as the runs were kept in check from start to finish. There were a few swings and misses but the wickets too got Ariana going in just the way they would have liked at the break.

Nusratullah Sultan, Zamin Zazai and Baz Ayubi were the wicket-takers but even Absar Khan, who went wicketless, was good with the ball. The captaincy of Bashir Ahmed was impressive as well.

The fielding though, can certainly improve, for both sides, but Ariana in particular.
