11:59 PM IST | Mehran Khan receives the trophy on the behalf of the team and the fireworks go off. The night sky glitters with iridescent colours and the celebrations from the players are as exuberant as they can get.

Mehran Khan (Asian Stars captain): Can't explain the feeling of being champion. This is one of my biggest achievement of my life, becoming champions of Asian Legends League T20. As a captain, there was a lot of pressure and high expectations. I wanted to lead from the front with the bat. The wicket was good for batting, we restricted them. Our bowlers bowled brilliantly. Had I batted for 6 overs we could have chased it down in 16 overs. I was very disappointed when I got out. I thought the match would go down to the wire. The way both Dhawan brothers played was brilliant. Our combination was the best in the tournament. We batted till nine. There's pressure of a final. Rishi Dhawan, though, didn't let anyone else bat!

Faiz Fazal (Indian Royals captain): "Without a doubt, it is a tough pill to swallow. The wicket was very good. We should have scored 180. Thanks to the crowd, they turned up throughout the tournament and supported us. Sorry, we could not win it. Every joint of the body is aching. But it is okay."

Rishi Dhawan has been adjudged Player Of The Match! Here's what he has to say: Feels good being on the winning side. Everyone did a lot of hard work throughout the tournament. We've played a lot of cricket together (brothers). Credit goes to him too, the running between the wickets was good, shot selection was good too. He supported me a lot. When Raghav scored the winning run, that was my favourite moment. Winning moment was the most memorable.

The city of Nathdwara, that hosted this tournament, has a population of under 50,000. The fact that 30,700 people turned up to the stadium to watch this final is a testimony to the success of this league. After 10 exciting T20 matches over the last 9 days, Asian Stars clinch the title. The celebrations that are unfolding on the park are rhapsodic. The players take a lap of the ground to thank the fans who turned up.

A plethora of renowned names participated in the league. But tonight one man stood tall and left a lasting impression on the minds of the spectators. Rishi Dhawan made an all-round contribution. While, his steadfast knock of 83 (57) is bound to become the talk of the town, it was his bowling that set the tone. He delivered a miserly two-over spell up front, which included 8 dot balls. Ishwar Pandey, who ended with a three-for, reaped the benefits at the other end.

After the Royals' top order was dismissed cheaply, Sanjay Singh impressed one and all with his 29-ball-57. His knock was studded with six fours and three clean sixes. Despite his efforts, the team failed to put on a big total on the board.

However, the beginning of the run chase, was not smooth for Asian Stars by any means. Three wickets fell within the first 7 overs. But then, the Dhawan brothers — Rishi and Raghav — got together and ensured that there were no further hiccups. They stitched together a partnership of 106 runs in just 69 balls. The highlight of the partnership was their calm demeanor and their bustling energy in the running between the wickets. They were helped by a missed stumping by Naman Ojha in the 12th over, While, Ojha did grab the second stumping chance he got, it was already too late by then. Rishi perished in the homestretch, but Raghav stayed right till the end and ultimately hit the winning runs too.

19.1 Yogesh Nagar to Raghav Dhawan, spilled! And the Asian Stars clinch the 2025 Asian Legends League title! Shortish length around middle and off. Raghav Dhawan rocked back, looked to finish this off with a vicious thump, picked out the man close in at cover. The fielder made a mess of the sharp chance, the ball rolled towards mid off and the batters pinched the winning run
