That will be all for today's coverage. Australia start off the series on a high note as their formidable bowling unit completely blew away the visitors today. There are four more matches in the series and there is enough time for Sri Lanka to come back in this series. This is Raghav alongside Shashwat signing off. Stay tuned on Sportskeeda for more live-action!
Adam Zampa has been awarded the player of the match award for his figures of 3/18 in four overs.
Sri Lanka 122/8 in 20 overs ( Pathum Nissanka 36 off 37 balls, Dinesh Chandimal 25* off 16 balls, Josh Hazlewood 4/12 in four overs, Adam Zampa 3/18 in four overs.)
What a win! What a win for Australia! They have come out on top after being put to bat first and defended a sub-par total with ease. Defending 150 was never going to be an easy task on a pretty decent batting wicket but when you have world-class bowlers like Josh Hazlewood and Adam Zampa, any target is defendable.
Australia started off well. Hazlewood and Cummins took early wickets and made the opposition pick the conservative approach. Nissanka and Asalanka had a little partnership and they finally managed to get going taking on Mitchell Starc. However, Adam Zampa blew Sri Lanka away dismissing the set batters in the same over then Hasaranga later.
Chandimal gave the fans something to cheer for in the end but it was not quite enough as Hazlewood ran through the lower order and the world champions registered yet another comprehensive victory.

End of another fantastic spell from Australia's Mr Consistent as he ends with the figures of 4/12 in his four overs. Onto the final over now where Sri Lanka need 34 runs to win.
