So, the Cricketer CC will play the final later tonight, against the winner of the next game between Donaustadt and Indian Vienna. The winner of that game will progress to the final, while the loser will play Austrian Cricket Tigers in the third-place contest. There's a lot of action coming up in the finals day to keep you entertained, so stick around to Sportskeeda to get all the updates. For now, this is Pratyush Rohra, signing off on behalf of my friend, Soorya Sesha. Adios!
Cricketer CC beat Austrian Cricket Tigers by 8 wickets
Right then. It was a comprehensive run chase from the Cricketer CC as they cruised over the finish line in this contest. They didn't get off to the best of starts in the first innings but managed to pull things back at the death to restrict the Tigers to a below-par total, and then their batters took care of the rest.
Despite losing Bilal Zalmai for a duck, they motored along without a fuss to make their way to the finish line. Messalhn was in a destructive mode as he toyed with the bowlers while Baseer Khan played his part in that partnership that scored 98 runs to get most of the job done for the side.
The Tigers bowlers never really had a say in that game and it was Jaweed Sadran who came in to finish things off with back-to-back maximums and booked CCC's spot in final of the tournament. Now they wait to see who they face later this evening in the finals.
7.5 Adeel Tariq to Jaweed Sadran, SIX! FINISHES IT IN STYLE TOO! Shuffles across his stumps before adjusting as this one lands right in the arc on off stump. Sadran holds his ground and uses his bottom hand to launch his swing high and handsome over mid-wicket as it sails back by a mile and then some. What an annihilation this has been in the first semifinal and in the end, Cricketer CC win by 8 wickets with 13 deliveries to spare to qualify for the final!
7.4 Adeel Tariq to Jaweed Sadran, SIX! UNDERWAY IN STYLE! In the slot at the stumps. Sadran clears his front leg and swings powerfully over the deep backward square leg region for a maximum. Just 3 runs away now...
Jaweed Sadran, RHB, comes to the crease
7.3 Adeel Tariq to Baseer Khan, GONE! EVENTUALLY TAKEN! Full and in the slot just outside the off stump as Baseer swings for the mountains again. The leading edge is induced as it balloons towards deep backward point who pulls off a juggling act and as it turns out, it's his colleague at deep point who then lunges forward and manages to pouch it. That was quite something but all's well that ends well. Momentarily at least, since this could well be a case of too little, too late!
7.2 Adeel Tariq to Baseer Khan, SIX MORE! THEY'RE IN A HURRY NOW! Short in length on middle and off stump. Baseer swivels on his back foot as he lifts his front foot and helps it stylishly over long leg for another maximum
7.1 Adeel Tariq to Baseer Khan, SIX! TOO EASY! Half-tracker outside the off stump. Just sits up for Baseer to stand tall and deposit a pull way back over the head of deep mid-wicket for six
Adeel Tariq, right-arm medium fast, comes into the attack
That maximum brings the equation down to 21 in 18 balls now and that should do the trick for the Cricketer CC. Remember, Austria Cricket Tigers only scored 14 runs off their last three overs. Now, their bowlers have to produce something special to keep them in the game.

6.6 Umair Tariq to Samargol Messalhn, SIX! BANG! Too full outside the off stump and Messalhn stands tall to crash it up and over the covers. Sends it flying flat over the fence for half-a-dozen to get his side closer to the target!
6.5 Umair Tariq to Samargol Messalhn, FOUR! SHOT! Short of a length outside the off stump as Messalhn shuffles across and transfers weight onto the back foot. He swivels completely and helps it up and over short fine leg before it beats the boundary rider comfortably to his right en route to the long leg fence
6.5 Umair Tariq to Samargol Messalhn, WIDE AGAIN! Shapes away past the tramline on a full length again. Messalhn reaches for it with a big swing but only connects with thin air
6.5 Umair Tariq to Samargol Messalhn, WIDE! Shapes away past the tramline on a full length. Left alone to the keeper
6.4 Umair Tariq to Baseer Khan, low full toss outside the off stump. Baseer holds his ground to use his wrists and whip it to long on for a run
6.3 Umair Tariq to Baseer Khan, WHOOSH! Full in length just outside the line of off stump. Baseer swings with gay abandon but he fails to put bat on ball
6.2 Umair Tariq to Baseer Khan, very full and well outside the off stump. Baseer leans forward to bunt it out into the off-side to the bowler's left, no run
6.1 Umair Tariq to Baseer Khan, SIX! KABOOM! Just a fraction short around the off stump but Baseer picks the length well in advance to stand tall and dump it with a powerful heave over the head of deep square leg. So much wrist power in that as it soars many a mile back!
Umair Tariq, right-arm medium fast, comes into the attack
