What an emphatic win this has been for the Avengers here and they have been absolutely clinical with the ball here. The Smashers got off to a good start in the first two overs but their batting order failed to capitalize on that start from there on and fell apart under pressure.

A couple of tidy overs from the left arm seamers meant that the Smashers were always behind the eight ball game and they never recovered from there, Sunil Kumar was the only batter who managed to salvage some pride as he managed to get 31 from just 22 balls. The rest of the batting cut a sorry figure,

The Avengers bowlers did an excellent job with the ball and they backed up their batters on their good work. They kept things tidy and their two left arm seamers kashyap and Prateesh were the stars of the show! Together the duo gave just 21 runs in their 4 overs and the Avengers sealed the game in that phase itself. Overall, it's a massive win for them and they go up in the points table. The Smashers though continue to chase their first win in the tournament,
