Commentary

Cluj - 87/8 in 10 overs (Nishant Devre 30 off 17 balls, Ijaz Hussain 2/22 in 2 overs) beat Baneasa - 78/5 in 10 overs (Ijaz Hussain 23 off 15 balls, Ravi Athapaththu 1/12 in 2 overs) by 9 runs and move through to the final.

What a thrilling 2nd innings it was! But Cluj had the lid on the can right from the start, making the most of a struggling Kaveesha Devinda at the top of the order for Baneasa, and then, holding on to their nerves to get the better of their opponents!

The bowling from all the bowlers right through this innings was good, with the lengths being the key to their win, as the batters found it very difficult to put those hard length balls away.

Ijaz Hussain did try to make a fist of it, even with the injury that he carried, but he needed more support from other batters to get over the line.
