That brings us to the end of India's only warm up game and they will be very satisfied with how things went today. Bangladesh have a lot to ponder on but they shouldn't look too much into this performance as India looked a far superior side today. The tournament proper starts in about six hours time with the hosts USA locking horns against Canada. Do join us then and for many more sporting action on Sportskeeda but for now this is me (Arya Sekhar Chakraborty) signing off also on behalf of my fellow commentator and dear friend Pradeep. Goodnight!
Rohit Sharma (India captain): Yeah quite happy with how things went. We pretty much got what we wanted from the game. It was important for us to get used to the conditions and I feel we managed it well. Just to give Pant an opportunity. We haven't quite nailed down on what the batting order will look like but it was important for all the batters to get some practice on a new ground. Arshdeep has shown us that he has got the skills upfront and also at the backend. We saw it today as well, swung the ball upfront and the back end as well got one over to bowl. Yeah like you know, we have got good fifteen players. It's just about nailing down the combinations.
Najmul Hossain Shanto (Bangladesh captain): Wasn't a great game for us, but the bowlers stepped up and bowled well. The way Shoriful and Rishad bowled, was really good. Our batting didn't work, but hopefully it works out in the main matches. We're not really thinking about what happened before, we know what we're capable of and be brave about executing the plans. Taskin and Fizz are very important for us, once they are back it's a different ball game. Shoriful is still in the hospital, hopefully he'll be fine. Everyone are excited to play the first game, execute our plans with one week into the first game.
It turned out to be a very good practice outing for India as they rolled over Bangladesh by runs in a clinical display of all-round cricket and the performance will surely give them a lot of confidence going into their first tournament proper game against Ireland on June 5. The score of 182 definitely looked well over a par score at the halfway stage but the Bangladesh batters couldn't quite get any sort of rhythm to the run chase.
The pitch was tacky and the pacers made full use of the favourable conditions on offer. Arshdeep Singh induced the outside edge of Soumya Sarkar in his very first over before coming back to rattle the stumps of Litton Das with an exceptional inswinging delivery. Najmul Hossain Shanto also had a brief stay in the middle as he only managed to splice one straight to the mid on fielder.
At 10/3, Bangladesh looked down and out and couldn't get anything from the middle of the bat. The timing wasn't quite there and all the Indian bowlers varied their lengths and pace besides nailing their yorkers to have a good practice game under their belt. Towhid Hridoy and Tanzid Hasan chanced their arms for a while. Towhid kept throwing caution to the wind but the timing wasn't quite there.
Tanzid managed to hit a couple of boundaries of Hardik Pandya. Axar Patel broke the partnership when he dismissed Hridoy before Hardik Pandya got his first wicket in the form of Tanzid Hasan. Mahmudullah came out in the middle and looked the only batter who found some sort of timing and momentum.
Along with Shakib Al Hasan, the duo shared a good stand but only for practice as they never looked like chasing the target. Shakib struggled to time the ball like most of the Bangladesh batters. Mahmudullah was an exception as he scored a 28 ball 40 which included some delightful shots. All the spinners had a go but what would please Rohit Sharma was Shivam Dube's bowling. He bowled three good overs and gave away just 11 runs for his two wickets.

19.6 Shivam Dube to Mahedi Hasan, INDIA TRUMP BANGLADESH IN THE WARM-UP GAME! Length delivery outside the off-stump. Mahedi whacked it to mid-off and picks up a single as India seal a comprehensive victory as they head into the main event from Wednesday against Ireland!
19.5 Shivam Dube to Tanzim Sakib, back of a length on the stumps. Sakib clipped it down to long-on for just one.
19.5 Shivam Dube to Jaker Ali, short and well outside the off-stump. Sakib let's it go to the keeper. That has been signaled a wide though!
Two in two for Shivam Dube and he is having some fun with the ball. Slower delivery again and the ball not getting anywhere close to the boundary ropes. Dube is on a hat trick.
19.4 Shivam Dube to Jaker Ali, OUT! PICKED OUT SAMSON AT DEEP MID-WICKET! Two in two for Dube. Another slower one, Jaker reaches and heaves it away, not much power behind it and went straight down the throat of Samson who makes no mistake.
Jaker Ali c Sanju Samson b Shivam Dube 0 (1b, 0x4, 0x6)
Jaker Ali, RHB is the new man in.
19.3 Shivam Dube to Rishad Hossain, OUT! AXAR TAKES A BRILLIANT CATCH! Now Dube has a wicket amongst his name. Good change of pace, dips a full delivery and Rishad skies it to long-on. Axar slightly misjudges it but then pouches it and tumbles down.
Rishad Hossain c Axar Patel b Shivam Dube 5(5b, 1x4, 0x6)
19.2 Shivam Dube to Rishad Hossain, short over the top of the stumps. Rishad has a wild swing across the line, but makes no connection.
19.1 Shivam Dube to Mahedi Hasan, full on the middle and leg. Mahedi whacked it to deep mid-wicket for just a single.
19.1 Shivam Dube to Mahedi Hasan, WIDE! Slower one goes wrong, full and sprays it down the leg-side, has been called a wide.
Shivam Dube will bowl the final over.
A brilliant over from Jasprit Bumrah but you expect a player of his class to deliver these sort of deliveries in the death. Just one more left before the formalities are completed.

18.6 Jasprit Bumrah to Rishad Hossain, short and angled in over the top of the stumps. Rishad backing away, throws his bat at it and misses.
18.5 Jasprit Bumrah to Mahedi Hasan, full and angled in on the stumps. Mahedi whips it past mid-wicket for a single.
Bumrah with a vicious short delivery and that has been gloves to Rishabh Pant. Just going through his full motions and trying to put the finishing touches.
