That's it from this rain affected game, Lanka get an important win as Bangladesh now need to win against UAE to get to the Semi Finals. Stay tuned at Sportskeeda as there is more cricketing action from around the globe coming your way. This is the duo of Bidipto and Divyansh, signing off.
Nigar Sultana Joty, Bangladesh Women captain: I guess we started very well, using the early morning moisture on the pitch, but things did not quite come off right in the end. We tried out best to get the runs, but we could not do it as we lost wickets in a heap. The equation is tough now, still, the win is what is required for sure.
Chamari Athapaththu (Sri Lanka Captain): I heavily back my team, definitely Harshitha continue her good form and Nilakshi is one of our most important batters as she did well with the bat. She (Inoka Ranaweera) is our number one bowler and one of the best, she is experienced and we trust her with the ball. We don't have big names but we have big players and we trust them to win the game as they put in their best efforts.
Inoka Ranaweera (Player of the Match, here's what she has to say): We did out best and our bowlers came out on top today. I think at the moment we know how to handle the pressure and we overcame it.
A very unlucky loss for Bangladesh as they get a huge chase after DLS revised the target to 41 off 7 overs. Bangladesh had to just hit it without thinking to get the runs, they ended up with losing 7 wickets because of that revised target. Still poor batting from them as slogging also means slogging it in the gaps rather than straight to the fielder.
Rain is the real Player of the match for Sri Lanka as they would have had to defend a total below 100 in 20 overs, but DLS gave them 41 to defend in 7 overs. The pressure gave them a lot of wickets, not to take anything away from Ranaweera as she changed the game with her 3 wickets over and 4 wickets in total. Brilliant bowling from her, tossing it up and inviting the batters to hit her. Ranasinghe helped her with a wicket and Lanka get 2 run outs as well.

11 runs off the last over. This is poor from the batters, as they have to slog it but they can still hit in the gap instead of straight down the throat of the fielder. The pressure gets Lanka 4 wickets in the over, match winning over from Ranaweera as she gets 3 wickets in the over.
