Commentary

Lucca CC win the match by 26 runs

This was a one-sided contest when the first few deliveries of the second innings were bowled. Baracca Prato lost a wicket in the first over and calamity befell them as they lost 3 more wickets in the second over of the powerplay. Hassan Ali gave them a little bit of hope with his fightback but was dismissed soon after looking to accelerate. Towards the end, it was Rasel Buya who again raised some hopes, only to lose his wicket later and send those hopes crashing down. They didn't lose all their 10 wickets but failed to show the batting intent which cost them this game as well as the top two spot in Group A.

It was a complete bowling performance from Lucca CC. Gayan Lakshitha and Thisara Fernando picked up 3 wickets each and conceded only 13 and 7 runs respectively in the 4 overs they bowled in total. Shalika Asanka and Yasintha Fernando picked up a wicket each and were economical with the ball. They also supported the other bowlers really well and stopped the flow of runs from their respective ends.
