Commentary

Belgium beat Luxembourg by 83 runs.

One might suggest that Luxembourg are still trying to find their feet in this shortest format but this will be a harsh reality check for their side. They were thoroughly outplayed in all three departments and have been given a proper bashing as a result. The bowlers were under the pump through Belgium's innings as the Belgian batting unit took them to the cleaners. 166 was always going to be a mountain to climb and it proved too much for this inexperienced Luxembourg side.

Thomas Martin's 32-ball 43 will be a huge positive for the side, despite him getting off to a slow start. Oscar Whiteman, too showed that he has the ability to hit big sixes while Roshan Vishwanath looked pretty good for his 18. On the bowling front as well, Ansh Trivedi was the pick of the bowlers for their side and he will be hoping for some more support from the rest of the pack.

So, Belgium becomes the only side in the tournament to win two out of their two games so far.
