Commentary

Well well, anything is possible when it comes to the ECS isn't it? No one gave Ljubljana a chance against Belgrade in this game but boy have they made a statement here! They are through to the finals and in high spirits with an incredible win.

Runs on the board in a pressure game always puts a side ahead and Ljubljana got just enough when they batted first to set this game up nicely. Until the half-way mark in the chase, the game looked pretty evenly poised but it is after that where it started shifting in favour of Ljubljana. They got in a few really good overs at the backend to deny Belgrade from getting over the line.

Alexander Dizija, Mark Pavlocic and Adrian Dunbar all batted well. However, they could not get them over the line, bottling under pressure. A couple of wickets for Om Raj and some good bowling from the rest combined, means that Ljubljana have set up the title clash with Zagreb Sokol!

Who would have thought when this game began! The underdogs have sent the big boys packing and this is going to be one hell of a final coming your way, that you simply do not want to miss.
