Farmers put up a comprehensive showing with the ball, which ensured that this game ended up being a rather lopsided affair. Nicolaj Laegsgaard was undoubtedly the player of the match. After having struck an unbeaten 81 earlier in the day, he returned to pick 2 wickets for 23 runs while bowling to the batters of Beveren. He flighted the ball well and managed to purchase some turn from this astro turf surface.

Others such as Rhys Palmer and Toby Britton too had a gala time out in the middle, and they ensured that the victory was achieved rather comfortably for the side from Jersey. Apart from Hakim Khaksar and Shahidullah Otmanzai, there were no discernible batting performances from Beveren. This defeat will disappoint the side from Belgium tremendously.
