Okay then, that will be all from the Jammu-leg of the Legends League Cricket, 2023! The weather wasn't all that good but the final day's play was just spectacular with the crowd turning up in numbers to catch a glimpse of their favourite players. We now move on to Vizag from tomorrow so do make sure to join us first thing in the evening at 6:30 pm. This is the pair of Pradeep and Bidipto taking your leave. Keep following Sportskeeda!
Suresh Raina (Urbanrisers Hyderabad captain): First of all, thanks to the groundsmen for doing such a wonderful job in getting the ground ready in tough conditions. Then of course, Rikki Clarke! He was brilliant! He was hitting them really well at the nets, so, we thought if giving him a go today and it came off! The team has clicked quite well. All bases are covered at the moment but there is always scope for improvement.
Irfan Pathan (Bhilwara Kings captain): Not the kind of result we wanted, throughout the tournament and the bowling wasn't good, with the options we had, we tried our best and every powerplay we gave away runs and it won't work like that. If you look at it from the second onwards, we should've won that game and we played some bad shots and we didn't bat well as a group since then, major concern has been powerplay, whether it's with bat or ball, kept giving away more runs in the powerplay. Imagine, if had stopped them for 40 odd today, we could've been in the game. It's not end of the life, we give our best, sometimes result don't come your way, I've played 20 years of professional cricket, we will take positives and come back hard.
Rikki Clarke is the Player of the Match! Here's what he has to say: It's just nice to play, the team played well and the form was good and the plan was there and nice to get a win. Wicket was keeping low and slow, used my height to take advantage of it. Preparation was good, last couple of days stopped a bit with the weather, but nice to see us out in the middle and went fresh today.
Urbanrisers Hyderabad win by 7 wickets with 15 balls to spare!
The Urbanrisers have now booked their tickets into the play-offs! It was a really good run chase as their batters had only one thing in mind - to go for the runs and not slow down!
It was not an easy pitch to bat on by any means. The pace got slower and the bounce got lower but the attack that the opening batters had early in the piece got carries forward by the middle-order. At the end of 6 overs, they were already up to 62 runs.
But, the knock of the evening went to Rikki Clarke! He played a rather measured innings but did not hold back at any stage when he felt there was the opportunity to take the bowling on. With 2 fours and 7 sixes, Clarke stayed not out by hitting the winning runs at a strike rate of 165.90.
His partnership with Gurkeerat Singh Mann in the middle proved to be decisive in the end as the pair put on 60 runs and did not allow the opposition bowlers to settle.
Bhilwara Kings were decent with the ball on the whole but a few poor overs here and there killed the game for them then and there. Rahul Sharma was the only bowler who was able to both pick up a wicket and stem the flow of runs. With this loss, the Kings are all but out of the play-off race.

Jesal Karia to Rikki Clarke, FOUR! URBANRISERSHYDERABADSTORMINTOTHEPLAY-OFFS! Fittingly Clarke hits the winning runs and takes his team into the knockouts. Drops it short outside the off-stump, Clarke waits and cuts it past the covers, what timing again as it raced to deep cover ropes to seal the deal.
Scores are level.

Jesal Karia to Suresh Raina, drops it short on the leg-stump, Raina went back to swipe and misses, pings on the pad and they pick up a leg-bye.

Jesal Karia to Suresh Raina, drops it short on the fourth stump. Raina went back and slices it past the covers, they scamper back for the brace. There was an attempt for the run-out but Raina is well home. Just two needed now.
Rikki Clarke has lit up Jammu today! Absolute blitzkrieg this and that too on debut! The match should be over any ball now. Just the kind of over the Urbanrisers needed to get the job done and dusted.

Chris Barnwell to Rikki Clarke, SIX! BAM! Clarke is tearing into Barnwell now, another huge hit. Length delivery, in the slot and Clarke pummels this one straight down the ground and into the sight screen for another maximum. 24 runs coming off it!

Chris Barnwell to Rikki Clarke, FOUR! Clarke is in no mood to let this one go down the wire now. Back of a length, wide of off-stump. Clarke reaches and powerfully swatted it straight down the ground, goes one bounce into the ropes again.
How long was that? May well be the longest six of the tournament!

Chris Barnwell to Rikki Clarke, SIXMORE! The wheels are coming off now for the Kings. That is a monstrous hit from Clarke, that has disappeared out of the ground and is the biggest of the night. Back of a length on the off-stump, Clarke swings and muscled it way over and over the roof for a ginormous hit.

Chris Barnwell to Suresh Raina, length delivery on the leg-stump, Raina flicked it past square-leg for a single.
That is a committed effort alright! Good save!

Chris Barnwell to Rikki Clarke, OH! That is a sensational effort at deep backward square-leg, fielder dives and saves a certain boundary, was Robin Bist. Clarke nonchalantly hoicks it away and gets just one.
This may well be a match-winning half-century from Rikki Clarke!

Chris Barnwell to Rikki Clarke, SIX! BAM! That is another mighty hit from Clarke and he brings up the FIFTY in style with that. Slower one, short and wide. Clarke stood tall and pounded it way over deep square-leg for a maximum.
