Black Caps beat Limassol Zalmi by 5 wickets
Sukhjinder Singh 34*(17) | Kulwinder Singh 28(10)
A great run chase from the Black Caps as they register yet another victory on the back of a stupendous effort from Kulwinder Singh and Sukhjinder Singh. They got off to a sensational start and scored 60 in the first three overs which laid the foundation for the run chase. Gunasekara and Pawaneep started off with some impressive hits before Kulwinder Singh took the onus on himself to play the big shots.
He raced off to 28 but after his dismissal there was a stutter in the middle as they lost wickets in a heap. That certainly out them under a lot of pressure bu eventually the required rate wasn't much and Sukhjinder Singh took the onus on himself to take his side over the line. He struck some lusty blows during his unbeaten knock of 24 off 17 deliveries to see his side over the finishing line.
8.4 Hasher Ullah to Sukhjinder Singh, FOUR! That's game set and match. A low full toss a shade outside off, Sukhjinder manages to get an inside edge, more of a french cut and it runs away past the short fine leg fielder.
8.3 Hasher Ullah to Sukhjinder Singh, on a length a tad outside off, Sukhjinder swings across the line and gets beaten.
8.2 Hasher Ullah to Sukhjinder Singh, FOUR! That is a fuller-length delivery a shade outside off, Sukhjinder swings across the line, the outside edge flies down the vacant deep third man region and off to the fence.
8.1 Hasher Ullah to Rajwinder Brar, on a length a shade outside off, dabbed away down towards the point region and takes a single.
