Thank you for joining me, Mohul Bhowmick and my partner Arya Sekhar Chakraborty, for this exciting game in the CSA T20 Challenge. We hope you enjoyed it as much as we did bringing it to you. Until next time, goodbye!
Neil Brand, Bowler of the Match: Yes, the fifteenth over was crucial for us. It turned the whole game around. It was nice to see some purchase in the surface for the spinners. We will keep working hard and ensure that we keep doing the right things. Looking forward to the final.
Sibonelo Makhanya, Batter of the Match: I am feeling good at the moment, let's see how it shapes up tomorrow and the day after. We had to scrape and fight to win today. I was not feeling too good in the beginning, to be honest, and put a lot of pressure on Theunis (de Bruyn). We have a good bowling unit. We usually win the toss and bat first. This is something that has worked well for us.
Titans beat Knights by 38 runs. Sibonelo Makhanya 45 (34) | Neil Brand 3/24 Theunis de Bruyn 36 (28) | Simon Harmer 2/22
The Knights got off to a good start thanks to their opening duo of Snyman and wicketkeeper Cloete. However, soon after the duo departed, there was no one left to pick up the mantle. Skipper Swanepoel tried his best but in the middle overs, the task proved to be too big for him.
The Knights were going well in the chase, maintaining a par run rate, but it was the over from Neil Brand that changed the game in their opponents’ favour. Snapping up two wickets in two, he effectively broke the back of the Knights’ batting lineup.
The loss was too hard to bear and it now means that the Titans will go into the final of the CSA T20 Challenge awaiting the winners of the second semifinal due to be played later today at the same venue between the Dolphins and the Rocks. The Titans duly deserve this victory and their place in the final, so there is nothing to take away from them.
The Knights had a good tournament but sadly, they could not bring up the goods tonight. The Titans have shown why they can be touted as the potential winners of this competition this season.

19.2 Junior Dala to Migael Pretorius, back of a length delivery around off. Punched away straight to the backward point fielder.
19.1 Junior Dala to Migael Pretorius, that has been nicely chipped over the cover fielder for a boundary. On a length around the off-stump channel, Pretorius makes some space and makes good enough connection. One bounce four.
Junior Dala (1-0-10-0) will bowl it.
Just one over to go, and the game is virtually in the pocket of the Knights.
