Commentary

That is that then. Cricket Stars have a deep batting line up and they went about this chase with a good approach here. This was a good mix of sensible batting with the power hitting as they got home comfortably in the end. They kept up with the rate all the way through and Bologna did not have enough in the end to play with.

Cricket Stars pulling things back with the ball at the backend of their bowling innings did make a significant difference then and they will be pleased with this effort and to have started the day with a win. A good team performance from them and this will give them confidence going ahead in the games to come.

Bologna lost their way at the backend of their batting innings and they fell short of runs which cost them this game. Quite a few extras given away and opportunities missed as well and it did not go their way as they failed to defend the target. They could not pick up wickets at the times that they needed to and couldn't build the required pressure on the batters in the run-chase.

Some work for them to do as they will aim to bounce back from this defeat. That is all we have from the first game of the day then but do hang around as we have plenty more coming your way.
