Commentary

Thanks very much for joining us, Mohul Bhowmick and Pradeep, for this rather one-sided contest in the ECS T10 Milan. We hope you enjoyed it as much as we did bringing it to you. Brescia completely overpowered Bergamo and made sure that no attempt at winning this game was made possible by the latter. Until next time, ciao!

As was expected, this turned out to be a rather lopsided game in favour of Brescia. Bergamo's batting did not match up to the task that was set to them by Brescia and they capitulated like a house of cards. It was seamer Javed Muhammad who started proceedings for Brescia but it was spinner Qabal Sajjad who turned the game completely in favour of the bowling team.

His landmark achievement was picking up three wickets for just two runs in the 5th over of this innings. After that, it was hard for Bergamo to come back. Although Naveed Chaudhary came into the attack and gave away an unlikely 28 runs in the sixth over, Sajjad came back and made sure that things were soon back to normal.

Brescia will be very proud of the way they performed in this game, but Bergamo will be disappointed with themselves. The former will be keen on carrying this form of theirs forward while Bergamo will hope to put this performance behind them and start afresh in their next game.
