Commentary

That has been Soorya and myself (Rishab) then. A brilliant game to start the day and we got more action coming your way throughout super Saturday. Do stay tuned to catch it all and hope you have a great weekend peeps!

Right then, this has been an action packed contest that went into the very final over. Brescia CC holding their nerves in the end as a heroic finish takes them through to the second qualifier. A heartbreak for Brigade as this will be the end of the journey for them. They were 10-15 runs short and those final overs in their batting innings did make all the difference.

It was one man who really stood out for Brescia CC. Ali Raza was magnificent for them with both bat and ball. A fine all-round show from him in a game that mattered the most. They did lose a few wickets at the end and it did get a bit nervy as well. However, they managed to hold their nerves and finish the game eventually.

A brave effort from Brigade but it was just not good enough on the day for them. This is the tone well set for finals day here in the ECL with a thrilling game to start off with!

Game Set Match for Brescia CC! Chaudhary seals it with one big hit, just at the right time and they will progress further in this competition. That is the end of the road for Brigade then as they are eliminated with this defeat. But it has been quite an entertaining game!

9.3 Andrew Britton to Naveed Chaudhary, SIX! FINISHES IT IN STYLE DOES NAVEED! That's how you do it alright - short in length outside off, he stands tall and clubs it flat over square leg to deposit it way back into the fence as he picks the bones out of this one. Huge roars from the Brescia dugout as they proceed to Qualifier 2. Alas for Brigade, that is that for their tournament. Brescia CC win by 6 wickets with 3 deliveries to spare!

9.2 Andrew Britton to Ahsan Akbar, SAFE! Full in length just outside off, Akbar takes a step forward and swings over wide mid-off. Just short of the fielder cutting across in the deep as this one's mistimed and the batters cross over.

9.1 Andrew Britton to Ahsan Akbar, DOT BALL! Priceless result for Brigade - short and angling into the off stump, Akbar swivels looking to pull behind square but gets into a tangle as it thuds into his midriff and dribbles to the bowler's left.
