Commentary

USG Chemnitz keep their unbeaten run intact in this tournament as they complete a comprehensive five-wicket win in the end, successfully chasing 97 runs down. Gopinath gave them a good start and played a crucial knock to make sure that they were in control of the game throughout the innings. Rajesh played a good little cameo as skipper Abdul Andar then smashed an unbeaten 20 to take this side through without any further hiccups.

They lost a few quick wickets but kept the runs coming throughout the innings and never let the rate go down at any stage. They kept the bowling under pressure and did not allow Britannia to comeback.

Britannia just failed to contain the batters even after picking up wickets at crucial stages. They will have to work on build pressure as only picking up wickets is not enough if they cannot keep the flow of runs down. The defending champions need to buckle up and put up a fine show as these two sides meet again not too long from now.
